I played the position of catcher on my softball team when I was a girl - and I can still catch a ball, or a ball of socks, flying through the air at high speed, barely looking up, by reaching out my left hand.
After softball games, if we won, my team would go to Dairy Queen and I'd have a slushy drink with one pump of every flavor in it.
I eat Lemonheads almost nonstop when I'm writing the first draft of a book.
My parents said I took so long to be born because even back then I was late because I wanted to read "just one more chapter."
I first discovered the Bible when I was about 12 years old. I had a copy called "The Way," and I read the questions in the back page after page, with their answers drawn from the Bible. It's probably why I love devotionals so much!
